At the 3D Bar, we create a scan by combining a series of photos of your belly into a unique 3D figurine. This model is then finished by hand, giving you a beautiful and detailed representation of your body that captures all the contours of your pregnant belly.

The Process of Creating a Pregnancy Figurine as a Memory (3d)
Barbara and Melis warmly welcome you to their cozy studio in Amsterdam or Deventer. Upon arrival, we offer you a selection of non-alcoholic refreshments or a freshly brewed cup of decaf coffee. We take ample time to discuss all your preferences and wishes to perfectly capture your pregnancy memory.
After discussing your wishes, you prepare for the scan by changing into a comfortable bathrobe. For optimal results, Barbara and Melis advise doing the scan without lingerie. You also have the option to wear skin-colored lingerie if that makes you feel more comfortable. Together, we’ll find a pose that is both comfortable and beautiful. While you hold the pose, we make the scan. The scan takes about three minutes, after which you can get dressed again. Together we review the scan, and only when you’re completely satisfied do we save the file for printing. If you’re unsure, we’ll redo the scan until we achieve the desired result. Once the scan is ready, we begin working with the material you’ve chosen. With attention to detail and craftsmanship, we refine the 3D pregnancy figurine into a true masterpiece.
