At De 3D Bar, we create a 3D sculpture of your pregnancy, printed using a 3D printer. It becomes a very personal and subtle work of art that you can display anywhere you like in your home. You can fully customize your own pregnancy sculpture in terms of size, material, and pose.
You can choose from various sizes, from 15 cm to 20 cm. You also have a choice of different materials such as bronze, copper, brass, and wood. A bronze belly sculpture, in particular, is extremely popular. Determine the pose of your artwork by, for example, placing your hands on your pregnant belly or by posing without hands. Due to the different sizes, poses, and materials, prices range from €195 to €415. Each artwork is unique and specially made for you with love.

You make an appointment at De 3D Bar around the 34th week of your pregnancy. Of course, you can also have a 3D sculpture of your baby bump made earlier or later in your pregnancy. Our advice to visit around 34 weeks is related to how a pregnant woman generally feels around this period. It is very important that when you have a pregnancy sculpture made, you feel good about yourself.
De 3d Bar in Amsterdam
When you come to De 3D Bar in Amsterdam, you’ll be pampered with a cup of tea and delicious cookies. We take all the time needed to discuss all your wishes so that you truly feel at ease. Afterwards, you change and put on a bathrobe. It’s best to have the scan done without lingerie. This is because when you are pregnant, lingerie can sometimes cut into the skin, which might make your beautiful curves appear less defined. Of course, it’s your own choice, and you can also wear lingerie if you feel comfortable doing so. In that case, wear skin-colored lingerie to ensure a better scan.
Afterwards, we’ll work together to find the pose that best suits your pregnant body. Once you’re perfectly positioned, I’ll walk around you with a scanner. The scanner is a type of camera that scans an object or body and is absolutely not harmful to you or your baby. After just 3 minutes, everything is captured, and you can put your bathrobe back on. Together, we’ll review the result, and if you are completely satisfied, I’ll save the file, ready for printing. After you’ve changed back and the payment is complete, we’ll start working on creating a beautiful artwork for you.
3d Printing a Sculpture of your Pregnancy
The scan taken of your baby bump is sent to our own 3D printers. The 3D printer prints a beautiful artwork layer by layer in your chosen material and size. Printing can take up to 24 hours, depending on the size, material, and pose. After printing, the 3D sculpture of your belly is lovingly post-processed. Mainly, it needs to be sanded and polished. Once your artwork is completely finished, it will be beautifully packaged and sent to your home via registered mail with PostNL. Your scan is stored for three months for a possible extra print, for example, for the new grandparents. After three months, the scan is deleted.
